Jalandhar: In an exclusive survey conducted among CEOs and Senior Executives for Management Education, on behalf of the ‘Business Barons’-the Magazine for Leaders; Lovely Professional University has been ranked among top B- Schools Brands: 2012, of India. The magazine also holds that there are more than 2000 recognized Business Schools in India for which this ranking has been made, under the massive survey designed to rank the brand equity of India’s leading select B- Schools. This survey remains interesting in value as LPU ranked at 22 has been following in ranking only to the top-towers of management education like IIMs of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode, and other leading Institutes of NITIE, TAPAI, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Feeling elated on this advantageous ranking, the Chancellor of the University, Mr. Ashok Mittal said: “We know that economic environment in India is boosting Indian Business Schools and to be among the top ones is indeed a matter of pride for all of us. Now, shouldering more responsibility than before, we are further planning to make enhancements towards infrastructure, faculty and research to acquire steeping up best global practices to meet the requirements of premier recruiters, not only around the country but in top foreign lands also.” Alerting the faculty, he demanded of them to keep on bringing revolutionary changes towards placements process making students fully understand their future roles and opportunities: “Time requires to strongly underlining that Higher education in general and management education in particular is becoming more global, and the mobility patterns are becoming increasingly complex.”
It is also enriching and elevating to note that Scores sent to the US from citizens of Central and South Asia, including India, declined from 67 percent to 55 percent, as the proportion of scores sent to India, the UK, and Singapore all increased, as GMAT Trends Point to Complexity in Student Mobility. Alex Chisholm, senior research manager for the Graduate Management Admission Council, holds: “Globally, there are more management education options than ever before, with more quality business and management programmes in different parts of the world, more different types of programs — and more of them using the GMAT exam in their admissions processes.”
In another recent ranking, LPU B- School has already reached global panache on being awarded Asia’s Best Emerging B School Award in Singapore, where participation of 29 countries was seen. In this regard, CMO Asia Advisory Board and Advisory Council of world Brand Congress see that LPU B-School has been leaping in advancements towards international accumulations. This shows that potential of LPU in becoming the B- School Hub for Asia is very strong. It has been attracting students from various 29 countries. Moreover, students from US and Germany have also studied a part of programme in the School.
